Day #6 - Dresser Drawers Cleaned

I am still trying to play catchup on the Getting Organized Challenge at A Bowl Full of Lemons.  My littlest one has an ear infection in both ears and has had a high fever.  We just started antibiotic #3 yesterday since nothing has touched the infection yet.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one will help to fight off the infection.  Day #6 of the challenge is to clean out your dresser drawers.  I actually keep most of my clothes in the master bedroom closet.  I use my nightstand to hold just my underwear, socks, etc.  I didn't take a before picture but the drawers were packed and almost not closing.  I was able to purge a large bag of items from the drawers.  I cleaned out the drawers on Monday and I am just getting around to posting now.  It has been much easier in the mornings to find everything.

Day #5 - Under the Kitchen Sink

OK, I think this is my last organization project for the day.  I can't believe I got so much done.  Day #5 of the Getting Organized Challenge at A Bowl Full of Lemons is to clean under the kitchen sink.  I took everything out and wiped down the cabinet.  I threw out most of my cleaning products since I mostly make my own products with vinegar, baking soda and essential oils.  It doesn't look like I got rid of that much but I was able to add in some items from the pantry that weren't there before, like the jug of vinegar and the extra soap.  I still like to use bleach in the sink to make sure it is disinfected.  I fill up the sink with hot water and add a little bleach.  After one hour, the sink is sparkling.

Day #4 - Clean Linen Closet

Wow, I can't believe how much I have accomplished today.  I am still playing catchup with the Getting Organized Challenge over at A Bowl Full of Lemons.  The challenge for Day #4 is to clean out the linen closet.  This week has been a long week with two sick kids.  My 7 year old finally went back to school today.  My 19 month old "helped" me with this project.  He kept taking things out as I was putting them in but I finally finished it.  It feels so good to have this closet cleared out.  As you may be able to see, I am an avid couponer and so I have quite a supply of products.  This is only one of my storage areas for my stockpile.
